BURRILLVILLE, R.I. -- Six Burrillville High School students who police say admitted to letting the air out of tires on all the school buses, causing the delay of school for two hours on May 28, have agreed to make restitution, take suspensions and do community service, police said Wednesday.

Burrillville Police Lt. Kevin S. San Antonio said managers at the Dattco Bus Company decided not to pursue criminal charges. Police said that because no charges were filed, the students' names will not be released. They are all 18 years old, he said.

Officer David Beauchemin worked with the school department and bus company to identify those who let the air out of all the bus tires and took fire extinguishers from the buses.
