Keywords:This week the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training will mail notifications to recipients of unemployment insurance who may be eligible for subsidized employment under the Jobs Now Rhode Island and Jobs Now Providence programs.
The federally funded programs offer 100 percent reimbursement to employers who hire eligible workers before Sept. 30...To be eligible for Jobs Now Rhode Island, a job seeker must be a Rhode Island resident able to work legally in the U.S., meet an income standard and be a parent of at least one minor child, or a member of a family that includes at least one child.
Applicants may apply through the Web sites www.jobsnowri.com or www.jobsnowprovidence.com.
