Whitehouse offers dinner, info for flood victims Sunday

CRANSTON -- U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse will host a community dinner this Sunday evening for people to share their stories about flooding in their neighborhoods and to speak with state and federal emergency officials.

The 6 p.m. event is being held at the Cranston Senior Center, 1070 Cranston St.

The diner, which is free to Rhode Islanders, will give people a chance to talk directly with Whitehouse, and to representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Small Business Administration, and the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency.

RSVPs are encouraged but not required and the event is first-come, first-served.
